Work in Progress

Work In progress.

I might call this one basement work in Progress.
I often do different kind of experiments, recording new material, trying out diffferent reed arrangements etc.
From 2014 I’ve been working on a sort of “dogme” project, where I record all tracks in my basement myself.
So far I’ve been composing and recording several new compositions within this “dogme”.
Some of these new compositions have been used in combination with art exhibitions and recently (July 2016) I composed new music for a mobile app where the music is supposed to be played in the headset as one walks around in a specific garden in Copenhagen (Det Kongelige Biblioteks Have).
Here you find a couple of small registrations – my basement experiments….work in progresss…:

My collaborations with artist Vivi Linneman
Since 2014 I have had some collaborations with artist Vivi Linnemann http://www.vivilinnemann.ch/Vivi_Linnemann.html
In 2014 I composed a variety of musical ‘soundscapes’ for an exhibition with Vivi Linnemann at Jarsbo Contemborary Art, Aalborg. Sounds of voices, water, beats, saxophones and flutes etc.
And this is a short excerpt from my duo concert at vARTe in Varde on november 5th. 2016. Pernille Bévort on tenor saxophone Mads Kjølby on guitar.

The ToneArt Decagon Ensemble
In september 2012 I played 5 concerts with a new project: The ToneArt Decagon Ensemble.
We did even make a liverecording. Hopefully this project will continue to perform new compositions for a colourfull tentet with a nice line-up: 2 trombones, 1 trumpet, 3 reeds ( w. clarinets etc ), and a rhythm section.
