Danish saxophone player, composer and bandleader Pernille Bévort is known for her intense and creative saxophone playing.Her new album ‘On Fire’ is recorded with her wonderful trio Bévort 3 and is released may 21. 2021. This album is inspired by classic trio recordings with saxophonists such as Joe Henderson and Sonny Rollins.
On this album you hear her trio in excellent intimate and playful interaction. The music is both energetic, thoughtful, full of lively melodies and organic qualities and also a lot of regular swing.
